mostly doing this for my own amusement
also, I decided to do these in chronological order. when they were made.
Write out the names of your characters and explain:
1) how you thought of their name
2) what made you create the character in the first place
3) how the character has changed over time (if they have changed)
4) any random fun fact about that character
Iggy1. I got the name Iggy from a book by Alex Sanchez, thinking Iggy was a cool and unique name. I found out later that the full version was Ignacio, and it's a Spanish name, so I hurried made his mother from Spain, even though he is painfully white.
2. Iggy was my first original character and, embarrassingly enough, I made him for a Harry Potter Marauder's Era roleplay forum when I was twelve. Recently I revamp'd him and put him in a modern Harry Potter universe, and Star Trek too(don't judge, I'm a loser).
3. Iggy has probably changed the most out of all my characters, if only because he's the oldest. He went from being embarrassingly like myself to gaining more of his own personality, having issues with his father and being the oldest and whatnot. His design is really basic and there's not much to change...
4. ...He was also my first gay character?
Aster (I'm putting her on here too, even though she's technically retired, because I still love her)
1. She was originally a furry character and she had a star marking on her back... 'Aster' means star in some language, I don't remember, I got it from a babynames site.
2. I made Aster with ~
curnies, because I wanted and anthro/furry character and lezbo character... ~
curnies provided her girlfriend, Billy(which is still the best name for a girl ever).
3. She... I dunno, I suppose she changed along with me? I think Aster embodied a lot of my neurotic, serious side. But I don't think I spent a lot of time devolping her personality. Her story changed slightly, I think, and I'm still not very fond of it. She was a foster child and grew attached to a boy she met who became her little brother, and they had trouble finding a home for a while because she refused to leave him behind. She always has been very attached to her little brother, and I get the feeling that she always will be.
4. She... was originally a cat. (i guess this goes under how she changed but idc) but she changed to a human with cat ears/tail fffff.
Jason (I couldn't do Aster and leave out Jason...)
1. I have no idea, it was just one of those things that popped into my head.
2. See above. He's the same as Aster.
3. He was originally a husky, who had red/amber spots instead of black, because there was a family with a dog like that who lived down the street from me, and every day when I walked home I would pass this dog and I thought it was completely beautiful. Jason ended up surprising me with how much of a story he gave me. Originally he was unimportant and a side character, just somebody for Aster to be protective of, but he sort of grew on me and I still love him a lot. He became a lot less frail and fragile as time went on, he was abused as a child so he's very quiet and skittish. But he sort of grew a strength of his own, probably through his love interest Cory(also ~
curnies's), who ended up tearing up his heart, but also providing him with a lot of courage and maturity.
4. ummmmmmmm....... idk... there's not much fun about jason hahaha.
Dominic1. The design came before the name, and I had the picture of this tall, quiet fellow with demon horns and I wanted him to have a sort of demonic name without having a lot of evil connotations, so I came up with Dominic. He's just Dom mostly, though.
2. I.... I really don't know? I was doodling in Psychology last year and he just sort of... Came into existence. And before I knew it I was making him a story and a boyfriend. He came before Lee did, and I think, because of that, his character is a bit deeper than Lee's.
3. He hasn't really changed that much. Personality wise, I think he's become less gruff and mean than I originally meant him to be, and more of a sweetheart. His bark is worse than his bite. Also, when I made his cousin, Aleks, his caring side developed a lot more. I think now he's become this really sweet, caring guy that likes to pretend he doesn't give a fuck about the world. He's a cutie.
4. He works at a pizza store. And still to this day I'm not sure what he wants to do with his life, or what he will do with his life.
Lee1. There was a girl I didn't know in my Algebra class named Lee, and I remember really liking that name and committing it to memory to use for something.
2. Well, I made Dominic. And Lee's original design came from a story idea i entertained for about two days. The story was crap, but I really liked his design so I copy/pasted him into Dom's life. I knew Dominic needed somebody optimistic and obnoxious and happy and bouncy to balance him out, and I created Lee along those lines.
3. His hair has gotten longer and shorter, and his sense of style has diminished. I think his obnoxious nature has diminished a little too, and like Dom, he's become a lot sweeter. And more eccentric, I think.
4. He has a dog, a boston terrier named Jack. He's pretty much Lee's bff.
Aleks1. I was laying in bed, thinking about this new character I wanted to make and I was like "He's going to be a huge douchebag. He needs a really douchey name. Like Alex... But spelled lame. Like... Aleks.... No!! AELKSANDRUS ahahahahaha I'm a genius"
2. Ummmm probably *
tabashio /blush And... idk, I wanted to expand Dom's family a little more.
3. Uhh well Aleks is fairly new so he hasn't really changed that much. He had a tail originally though, but I didn't really like it, so I took it out. (first drawing of aleks

4. Aleks is Dominic's cousin. He's in an emo band.. uhh idk. he... he's a douchebag?
Model1. Model is probably my newest character, and her design developed way before her name. I had been drawing this sort of fashionable girl with big curly hair and pouty lips a lot, not putting much thought into it, just drawing. I was literally drawing her for a few months before I realized I wanted her to be a character. It was probably another month or two before I came up with a name. And I didn't even really come with a name, I just started calling her 'model girl' and it stuck.
2. Divine intervention?? I really have no idea, she just popped up and refused to go away.
3. Model has developed quite a lot since I first started coming up with idea for her. She's always been a model, but at first she had a brother and a sob story, but then I had a genius idea one night to make her a villain. So she became this cool sociopathic mob boss who would do anything to get her way. She is a very stoic, unemotional character, and I think that's why I like her so much.
4. She's British! That was one of the first character traits I came up with when I was creating her, and I still think it's a good one. What with Britain's fashion being so chic and villains with British accents are so cool, I couldn't resist.
